April 3, 2006 - Northeast Engineers & Consultants, Inc. (NE&C) has opened a new office in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts that will be staffed with professional engineers and land surveyors. NE&C, known for its extensive expertise in land and waterfront engineering including the Master Sewer Plan in Baghdad, Iraq, will service all Northern New England clients with survey, civil/site, land development, waterfront and coastal engineering, environmental, geotechnical and structural engineering projects from the new Mass office.

The office will be supervised by Roger Lizotte, P.L.S., a principal at NE&C, and managed by Rich Gosselin, P.L.S. Roger is responsible for all survey work conducted by the firm and is also a partner. Mr. Lizotte has over 30 years experience in cadastral, construction and hydrographic survey work. He has directed construction layout services for commercial sites in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts, including the Price Club Plaza in Seekonk, and the initial expansion of Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. Mr. Lizotte has performed property line surveys throughout Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts, from small lots to large subdivisions, including large acreage surveys for proposed golf courses in Smithfield, Middletown, and Portsmouth. He is a graduate of Boston College.

Rich Gosselin is an expert at providing GIS Services for municipalities and large corporations. He has over 25 years of experience. Previously with NSTAR, Rich now is responsible for updating the GIS Electric Service Landbase, consisting of over 56 Massachusetts cities and towns.
