December 1, 2007 - NE&C is pleased to announce that for the 2nd year in a row, it has been recognized as the 2nd Fastest-Growing Private Company in Rhode Island by the Providence Business News.

Thanks to its opening to the international market with operations in Baghdad Iraq and Dubai UAE through SGE its parent company, NE&C has realized a 628% revenue growth between 2004 and 2006.

In Rhode Island

NE&C manages the site re-development for the Carnegie Abbey Sporting Community (golf course and luxury residential units) and is the engineer behind the reclamation project of East Providence's East Pointe.

NE&C also designed and permitted the only wastewater re-use system in service in the state, and the two membrane filtration wastewater plants and the only geothermal well permitted in Rhode Island by the Department of Environmental Management.

In Iraq

SGE has been awarded 87 task orders by the Department of Defense and large private companies such as Raytheon and ECC, for the reconstruction of public service infrastructures.

In Dubai

SGE won its first contract, and has been providing civil engineering services for the construction of a new sales center for EMAAR, one of the world's largest real estate companies and the largest developer in Dubai.
