Traffic Impact Study

The rapid rate of commercial, residential, and recreational land development continues to present challenges in the form of crowded roadways, traffic congestion, impact to the environment, and overall safety concerns. Transportation engineering has become integral to nearly all land use projects and is a major component of municipal, city, and state master planning.

NE&C quantifies existing, proposed, and forecasted traffic conditions to determine what signalization or roadway geometric changes will optimize traffic flow and safety. NE&C utilizes computer modeling of traffic volumes to determine queuing, delays, levels of service and traffic distribution for the greatest probabilistic accuracy of representing impacts.
